Differentiation Strategies

This week's differentiation strategy was the use of visuals and manipulatives. This strategy is a differentiated learning style that will aid visual learners. On our walkthroughs, we also saw objectives posted which is an ongoing goal and last week's culturally proficient practice.

Welcome to the Victory Blog!

Welcome to Seawell Elementary's Victory Blog! In our School Improvement Plan, we decided that we would share celebrations of successfully using culturally proficient strategies throughout the school via a blog.

We also decided that we would have a bi-weekly culturally proficient practice strategy that would alternate every two weeks with a differentiation strategy. For the weeks of October 4-8 and October 11-15, the culturally proficient practice that should be put into place is posting learning objectives on the board in kid-friendly language.
